Real antique pony blanket made from horse hide. This tanned 'tique is still supple after all these years and ready for those sleigh bells. In days gone by, most carriages and other horse drawn vehicals were a rather frigid affair. Open top, wind rain , the elements were kept at bay with the pony blanket. This chestnut brown equestrian coverlet has one patch of slipped missing hair. Horses do not have fur. It has a velvety black backing in very good shape as well. Perfect for the re enactor and interperative historian. It even looks great as a throw rug. Better then a bear and more silky. |
