A woman, she is lovely, almost Renaissance like in stature, yet on a much more moderne setting. This large brooch, signed with the initial A.L. ? seems to be on a copper back ground and an ornate bronze finish setting. The milk white enamel is raised much like a cameo. It appears to have gold leaf applied decoratively. This Mona Lisa Maiden, I wish I knew her. Sigh! |
