Henk Bos Hank Bog Tile Impressionisim Henk Bos ceramic tile. Measuring six inches square and with a few tiny edge chips, this still life is lovely.Mistakenly called Hank Bog due to his cryptic signature Dutch impressionist artist Hendrik Henk Bos was born in 1902 and died 1979. Little info is available in between. Popular as cultural icon from the 1950's through the 1980's, his work appears around many kitchen and home decorative accessories.

Majolica Antique Tile Huge Primitive Majolica oval tile ablaze with color. Early ceramic treat is heavy and thick. Vibrant colors, light and dark Burgundy, cornflower blue and rich violet, buttercup yellow and pale green, all pulled together with a light cobalt blue border. Creamy off white background, this HALF INCH THICK decorative tile has light crazing verifying vintage. Ten inches tall, this fine old tile is almost eight and a half wide.
 

Vintage Tile Iris Flowers H and R Johnson floral tile with a decidedly English Garden appeal. Each flower is painted in bold cobalt blue. Made in England though with an oriental flavor. I overexposed the image as to show paint details. Light crazing verifys vintage on this thick ceramic. Johnson Tiles of Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.
