Art Deco Serving Tray Surprise 1928 Rich wooden serving tray with a BIG secret!
Beneath the thick glass pane that covers the angular gold lined Moderne Art Deco design,
I found a partial lobby card for the 1928 Silent Movie, Single Man.
Starring; Lew Cody, Aileen Pringle, Marceline Day and Eddie Nugent.
This seven reel classic directed by Harry Beaumont,
is about an aging gent who falls hard for a young Flapper.
One of Hollywoods last pre Talkie films.
The Art Deco tray is in fine condition and looks great either on the wall
or as a decorative server.

Treble Clef Choir Angels Chorus Boudoir Photo 1880 Exquisitely framed large cabinet photo of girls nite out.
Gathered around a music book called, The Treble Clef Choir by George Root. Details easily seen under magnification.
George Root also known as G. Friedrich Wurzel, wrote this hugely popular piece in 1879.

Iron Eyes Inner Strength Victorian Tintype Framed Huge If eyes are a reflection of the soul, how can one not respect this long gone 19th century Matriarch.
Though a common misconception, most Victorian woman were both strong and wonderfully capable.
This tintype photo, an image on a thin iron plate, was hand colored circa 1870's with great reverence.
Resting solid in warmly patina flavored frame a bit of glare from the glass is evident.
Note the lovely white crocheted collar and mourning jewelry pin.

A few glasses missing and a bit of gesso loss. even the small paper loss really does not detract.
Matted with a fine lace doily.
Traditional craft style and quite possibly unique.
Handcrafted of embossed paper attached to perforated paper similar to Scherenschnitte
Very decorative!
