This large antique stone ware jug circa 1890 - 1910 may remember moonshine whiskey, hard cider and other hillbilly treats, but likely held day to day liquids like spring water vinegar and oils. Bold blue cobalt blue number two on face. This jug stands fourteen inches tall, very Heavy. Decorative yet primitive counry accesory hand made with a slick and glossy glaze. Snuffy Smith and Loweezy from Hootin' Holler would love this pottery bottle.
